A Space to Think for Hermes

A Space To Think, designed by Ania Rosinke was a finalist in The Prix Émile Hermès 2014 competition. She has created a piece which comprises of equally natural and man made elements. The minimal straight lines combined with the organic curves sit together in perfect harmony. The use of the light timber molded into strong and confident lines softens the piece subconsciously creating the illusion of softness and comfort. My favourite part of the design is the thick timber feet, they hold both the strong lines and the organic curves. HER
