As I have been writing this blog I am finding it really interesting to see what patterns are developing within my style, tastes and passions. With that said, the power of simple lines and geometric shapes are at the top of the list. For me I think it’s the beauty in the simplicity of the lines, the subtle details that hold so much power. There are also endless possibilities in the way these perfect details can implemented.
Eva Rothschild’s installation within the Tate Britain building is a perfect example of this. The modern clean lines compliment the heritage building. The lines draw you through the large cavernous space as though it was no effort at all. Each corner of the installation creates its own balance and movement, ensuring no loss of interest in space anywhere. HER
